We are beginning to map mills by Old County using two sources:
- Our member John Crompton has volunteered for Royal Commission for many years and has recorded all signs of milling activity on the old 1:25″ maps
- Mention of mills in Melin papers. All paper references are Mill volume and page numbers.
We will be gradually putting the information that we have here as a series of maps. Our first county is Anglesey. More to follow.
